"You will always be my greatest adventure" - Up
As we near the end of this years wedding fair season, we have noticed the importance of these events but we also thought we should explain to couples why we think they are so valuable to you as a newly engaged couple, or even as a couple in the final stages of organising your dream day.
Some couples we have seen this season have said they have never been to a fair before, they didn’t see the point to them, or they were worried about being bombarded with suppliers wanting to take their money off them. They also have concerns about being railroaded into a decision the were not ready to make because they got caught up in ‘the day’.
Well we are here to set the story straight on the ideas and process of the wedding fair and put your minds at ease
We as exhibitors are there to showcase the services we offer and give you ideas. Even the venue of a wedding fair is an exhibitor on the day. We have, as a group, have been involved in, organised, been a guest at and talked about many different types and styles of wedding. Between us we have lots of ideas that we love to share, and what better way than to get us all together and do it as a team?
You tend to find that all of us in the industry know each other and have formed friendships over the years, there is no competition between any industry or person within it as it like we say; not one of us can do every wedding, therefore we feel no hardship in recommending each others services to you if we are busy or feel what your looking for is a strength of one of the other suppliers, we feel this friendly atmosphere makes your planning journey a pleasant one as well as our working environment.
What is the purpose of a Wedding Fair?
The sole purpose of a wedding fair is for you to be able to browse the different exhibits at your leisure, take in all the things you never thought about, soak up the ideas, colours, sights, smells, get the feel of the people you will be dealing with in your planning stages, chat with the suppliers, pick their minds about what they’ve seen, how they think what they are offering suits your needs
Where are wedding fairs usually held?
For the most part Venues that hold wedding fairs are usually wanting to showcase themselves as a wedding venue so they will take particular pride in how the venue is set out, what publicity it gets and which suppliers it invites to attend.
Who am I likely to meet at a fair?
If you can think of something you might want at your wedding there's a good chance you'll find it at a wedding fair. Bridal boutiques, florists, photographers, cars, videographers, beauty specialists, suit hire, cakes and favour specialists, event decorators, musical and non musical entertainers and that probably only scratches the surface.
We all have our worries about anything wedding, and we as suppliers are all aware that you as potential customers have a time frame, a budget and two sets of family and friends to consider when making these decisions, all we aim to do is to offer you some advice; from what we have both done and seen, as impartial people helping you with making the most important day of your lives, the BEST day of your lives, and one your family and friends will be talking about for years to come.
Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
